Another fine weekend for Americans to gather for heritage and marksmanship.

Saturday dawned with perfect weather and after the requisite safety briefings and greetings, six shooters got down to business.

Although attendance wasn't as high as at some events, everyone there showed a great attitude and improved over the course of the event and allowed even more personal instruction.

Holly (11) and her dad Jason had to leave around the middle of Saturday, but Holly was pulling together some groups after not being on paper at all at the end of the day. Would love to see her and her dad back at another event.

Previous attendees Aerie, Caeleb and his dad Stephen also showed improvement. At the end of the first day, the Rifleman's cadence started to sink in for Caeleb and he turned in some very respectable groups.

Sunday had two shooters return, brothers Brian and Stephen, who worked hard all day and brought AQT scores up from the low 100s to the 160-170 range as the six steps and NPOA started to become integrated. Hopefully, they'll keep at it and knock out a patch in the very near future.

I'd like to thank fellow instructors didactic and baminal for assisting me in running a safe and smooth event.
