AAR RED BLUFF, CA  MAY 14-15, 2011

What a great event.  They just keep getting better!

Weather ordered....Sunny, highs in the low 70's.  Maybe a light breeze.

Weather received...Saturday...as ordered...highs in the 60's perfect Appleseed weather.
Sunday!!!!!  AAACCCKKK!!!!  When did we time warp back to December?  Rain (snow in the rain in the early morning), Wind (20mph) most of the day, cold for May...52 at 2pm.

Saturday-22 shooters on the line.  8 youth!  Sunday 11 shooters. 4 youth!

This was an awesome group of shooters.  Experience ranged from never shooting before to experienced.  Everyone learned something.  It was fun and inspiring to watch the youngsters on the line. They were using rifles that were a bit to large for them, but they showed true Rifleman spirit and adapted and were determined to shoot well!  One young lady even had a single shot, bolt action that had to be cocked every shot!!!  She was getting every quick and getting the shots off.  Wish the rifle had been a bit shorter for her.

Erik & Matt bet lunch over who got the best Red Coat at the end of the day, not sure who won.

Tammy & Bryan Smith brought out 5 of their children with them. Jason and Aaron are very close to Rifleman.  Christine, Sarah & Andrew, Awesome job you guys!!
Joel it was great to meet you and Ian & Caleb.

We were honored to have Talk Radio Host Alana Burke, her husband Andy and daughter Caitlin come out and shoot on Saturday.  Here's the link to her Monday report of her experience.  http://apps.kcnr1460.com/media/podcasts/Alana_Burke/Alana_Burke_2011-05-16.mp3

She and her family had a great time and are coming back in October. Alana, bring your son next time too!!

Frank was ooooohhhhhh soooooo close to Rifleman...So was Tom.  See you guys in October.  I know you'll get it then.

Tate, good to see you again too.  Keep up the good work.

Debbie & Shauna...Keep practicing see ya in October...awesome job, you'll be getting Rifle(Wo)man soon.

Sean & Bradley..Hope you guys get to come back too.

Everyone did an AWESOME JOB!!!!  A Shoot Boss couldn't ask for more.

Well......one thing more.  I didn't do this alone...I had help from two incredibly talented and capable instructors....eaglescouter and polygunner.  THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, for all you did this weekend.

See ya all October 8-9!!!

Hey Laurie, People keep asking me about your rifle lol. Um....what exactly was I shooting other than a 22 caliber?

NorCal22Gal

You were shooting a Ruger 10/22 carbine.  yes .22 caliber.  That's what Caitlin was shooting too.   Only Caitlin had eaglescouter's with the heavy bull barrel and tech sights.  I believe Andy was shooting Poylgunner's 10/22 as well.  just different styles.  All are fun to shoot.
