Greetings all from the Warm SE Corner of New Mexico. Man what a great AS here at the Carlsbad shooting range this weekend. It was my pleasure to spend a fantastic weekend with like minded families who were not only eager to learn about OUR heritage, but to learn and improve the skills to make them Rifleman. We were blessed to have hosted a line of families this weekend from as close as Carlsbad to as far away as El Paso TX. And one Fine and persistant shooter who drove all the way from Lubbock TX. to not only shoot with us again, but to earn the coveted "Riflemans Patch" on his second AQT Saturday. On his first one he had already picked the lock and disarmed the alarm, forget just knocking on the door.

We were so very proud as a team of instructors to not only have offered Tim a new Orange hat, we were elated when he accepted it. Just to prove his desire to improve and be a shining example of a Rifle Marksmanship IIT, he shoot 4 more 217+ AQT's Sunday. He will be a phenomenal Asset to the AS Instructor Corp and we look forward to working with him as much and as often as we can.

Congratulations are Due Tim for coming and showing just how well those Texans can shoot. As well as his dedication to 7th Stepping and taking up the challenge of the AS Trail.

We had the honor of watching ALL the other shooters not only make marked improvement, but they did it in a steady curve of application and determination and at the end of the day Saturday showed the improvement of all of them going from the low 100 to mid to high 100's scores on their AQT's.

Thanks to all who showed and made OUR, (the instructor Corp) beam with pride to your exceptionalism.

Thanks again all for giving us the honor of serving and instructing you this weekend.

It is My distinct Honor to have worked for all the shooters on the line this weekend.
It is always an uplifting experience spending time on the line with Awakened Americans.
I truly enjoy seeing the look of amazement in peoples eyes as their Marksmanship improves and they come to the realization of what our Founding Fathers did for us and left for us to protect. &) &) &)

Congratulations to Tim W.(336 on the forum) fro his initial Rifleman score of 222 and for accepting the responsibility of the Appleseed Trail as an IIT!!! :) :--- :)

As I was attempting to download pictures from my camera, I came to realize that it ate them!?! :wb: :wb:
I truly regret that that little piece of pictoral history is gone forever. :'(
But we still have it in our hearts and minds!!! :)

                            GREAT SHOOT !!
Jerry/Jimi are to be commended for the quality of instruction provided.  A lot of appreciation for Jimi/Theresa for the promotional efforts that yielded all of the new shooters.  Congratulations to Tim for breaking through that "rifleman" barrier.  And a special thanks to Tim for stepping up to take on the responsibility of an "Orange Hat".  I know we will see more of him soon  (we are holding his staplegun and shooting mat hostage until the next shoot).
Most importantly thanks to all of the new shooters that got up off the couch to learn about our heritage and polish up on their shooting skills.  Jim, Nick hope to see you in Roswell along with everyone else that wanted to make this Appleseed but couldn't.

Thank you all for your efforts and your instruction over the past month or two.  I was drawn in to Appleseed because I figured I could learn something about shooting.  I have acquired much more than only some shooting skill.  I have met and become friends with some of the best people around.  You guys have inspired me to dig deeper and become more than just someone with a little more shooting skill than I had, hence the 7th step.

I only hope that I will be able to live up to the example that our forefathers set on April 19th, 1775.

Thank you all and I will see you again soon,

Tim

P.S. Shooting the AQT with my 10/22 is always a great time but shooting it with OL's AR is a blast!

You are a welcomed addition and a great value. A personal THANK YOU for taking the Orange Hat.
