Project Appleseed

Well another season of promotions in Kane County has come to an end, and with it the main gun show circuit in Northeastern Illinois. All I can say is WOW!

When we began last fall some of our outreach in this area was strained. Some of our key players were burning out. Heck, I couldn't even walk. Riflemen persist.

Nine months later we stand together. We stand stronger than ever. I guarantee you, the gun community of the Chicago suburbs know who we are. THOUSANDS of people have been introduced to Appleseed who might never have been otherwise.

We have made friends along the way too, dealers, organizations, and promoters. I believe this will have returns far into the future. I want to thank the Friends of the NRA for being good nieghbors, and the High Power Shooters of Aurora Sportsman's Club for their moral support. Kathy at Kane County for all the intel, Kankakee Gun Collectors, Northern Illinois Rifle and Pistol Club, DuPage Sportsman's Club, Illinois State Rifle Association, ... the wide support boggles the mind.

We have built friendship among ourselves also. I want to personally thank; Garand69, EEL, Gravy, Karl, Mountianman22, 2ToothDoc, Dugjeep, Gumballhead, Klippefurt, Danna, BoomerEOD, the list goes on. Thanks to Cooper and AuntieBellium for border raiding when we needed an extra kick. They are so many I'm sure I forgot a few. Thank you 

Special and personal Huzzahs goes out to two men in particular. M1D, you are a quiet man of immense character. I feel renewed hope in our nation every time I talk to you. Pappy, words really can not express. You are our heart and soul as much as leader. I would be proud to stand by both of you anywhere any time.

Once again thank you to everyone. Northern Illinois Promotions Crew is already making plans for the next season. (We aint done yet folks.) We are waking up people where it counts. We're making Riflemen.  :---Now give it up and hear some Huzzahs!!!
