The forum is but a blank slate that records what we type.  If it sucks, why is that?  Anyone have an extra mirror for people?

You tech-people rock!!!  I just sent a PM and it was beautiful!  I had a list of forum names to choose from as I started typing and I can see the entire list of people it's going to - awesome!  And...wait for it...the labels function works, so we have folders to sort our PMs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!     ^:)^ ^:)^ ^:)^ ^:)^ ^:)^ ^:)^ ^:)^ ^:)^ ^:)^
I will be spending my evening organizing now.   ;D

P.S. If I'm wrong and the label function actually worked before, just let me think that it was all the forum upgrade and I'll never know any better.   ;)

scuzzy is working to fix the TIPS integration.  Was a case where it worked in testing but not on go live.  Should be fixed in short order.

I've got somewhat of a fix for TIPS but I'm not sure I like it. I'm listening to Scout on blogtalk right now. Yeah, I know, I should be working on TIPS. I'll get 'er done though.

Dang internet here has been up and down all day long so it's put a wrench in things.

I think I'm liking the new look. A lot. I used labels in the 'my messages' section all the time on the old forum, but it's much easier with how it's set up now. Thanks to everyone for their hard work in getting this up and running!!!!

Will we be getting the signature thing back?  ???I sure liked reading everyones quotes.
Pretty fancy.~Two Wolves
A moral compass provides a basis for making decisions; an action is good or bad, right or wrong when viewed in the light of the individual's moral bearing. If no moral compass exists for the individual, then decisions and actions are made on the basis of purely subjective thoughts. This leads to "If it makes me happy, or makes me feel good, or if it's something I simply want to do, then it is right and good."

scuzzy

Fix for TIPS is in.

I'll probably work on making TIPS more secure during the day so there may be intermittent problems. If you have a problem PM me.

This is odd.  When I type in a post that's longer than the edit window, the text keeps scrolling back up to the top after every letter (jumps back down as I type a new character, then immediately back up), so that I can't see what I'm typing.  When I try to drag the edit window longer so as to see the whole thing, it snaps all the way back to minimum length, so that it shows only one line at a time.  I can drag it back open from there, but it usually takes a bunch of tries to get it to "stick."

Was gone all day getting checked out on range operations at Atterbury...

1 - Signatures will be back.

2 - Window jumping:  This is specific to IE(Internet Explorer).  The fix is as follows:

Select Compatibility View settings from the "tools" menu.  At the bottom of the dialog box, check "Display all websites in Compatibility View".  Problem should be gone.  This seems to only be IE 8.

The signature line (for me anyway) is gone.

It's there in my profile, but not in my posts.

And being comfortable (Old Dog, remember) with the way things were the new colors/shapes/layout will take some getting used to.

spitstickler just informed me of another problem in TIPS. The 'My Info' has a bug. You'll get dragit's info up. Heck, and I know him personally.

I'm about to fix that right now.
