I'm in Vermont headed West next week towards Minnesota.  How do yall feel about me stopping in Throop to shoot boss?

Watch out for them homeschoolers around Throop, Whisker! Especially the ones with the shrink-wrapped Rugers.  :sos:

I just discovered I need to be in the Midwest before that weekend.. So I will not be able to SB.

I'm a brand new shooter and am planning on being at Throop. Hopefully I won't be the only one...

If only I had known Throop is as close to me as it is earlier.  Looks like I found my location for a shoot this summer.

As for getting more people to go, well I'm thinking it comes down to money.  $70 is cheap for two days of instructed shooting, but for many it's $70 more than they can spare right now.  Don't get me wrong, Appleseed is worth every penny, but money seems to be the big issue I'm coming across when trying to recruit friends.  That, and a lack of guns on my friends part.

To keep this post on topic though, is there a shoot boss available for any of the other shoots scheduled for Throop?  I would hate to sign up only to be bumped to another location like last year.  I really can't afford the 8hrs of driving, not with what the cost of gas is likely to be this summer.

We currently have a SB signed up for the April 16 & 17 shoot at Throop.  As far as the events in the following months, I'm sure that as we get closer to these dates we'll see staffing for them on the Instructor Schedule.
