My friends and fellow Instructors,

Our neighbors in Ohio are hosting an Advanced IBC with Fred as the Lead Instructor, next month.
Details here:  http://appleseedinfo.org/smf/index.php?topic=19297.msg153725;topicseen#msg153725
Ohio has graciously extended an invitation to us instead of keeping Fred all to themselves...    ;D

I am going to make every effort to be there for the weekend and I would ask all of you to consider it.
The reviews from the first two AIBCs are outstanding.  The site is just south of Dayton, OH and is close to I-70.

As an added attraction, I will probably head over early on Friday and spend at least the afternoon in the US Air Force Museum which is only 30 minutes away.  http://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/
A field trip by the Hoosier Corps would be neat.

Of course, car pooling would be a great idea, especially in the highly unlikely chance of inclement weather.  :)

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

Huh, that's interesting.  Especially because I was under the impression that Kansas was supposed to have one Jan 22-23, but switched with us.

:)

Looking at that post EEL linked, looks like we all got crossed up somehow.  Hope I didn't screw up the date.

Just to let everyone know, MO is graciously letting Ohio keep the Jan 22-23 date, so come on over!  Please send me a PM if you plan to come so we can coordinate sleeping arrangements.  We can still squeeze in a few more.
