Another fantastic weekend in College Station---I just love that place!! The range is great, the owner couldn't be more supportive and some of the best folks you'll ever meet--I'd like to have a shoot there every week!!
The weather was perfect this weekend, not too hot, not too cold, a bit of overcast and just enough rain to remind you that it can happen.
This was a great bunch of students--all had very teachable attitudes, wanted to learn and learn they did!! We saw a lot of improvement through out the weekend, one new Rifleman, several knocking hard at the door and one new Orange Hat--Brandon!  Welcome aboard!!
The instructor staff did a great job as well; as a matter of fact I feel guilty; I had three very qualified red hats, on the line--I just watched to make sure everyone was safe!!
I saw a lot of cameras this weekend; someone, please post some pictures!!
Looking forward to seeing you all again in December!!

It was indeed a great shoot. Solid bunch of shooters and instructors. Congratulations to new Rifleman David (Texas Minuteman)! His daughtr Kaylee continues to improve as well and will soon join her brother Connor in the Rifleman ranks. Congratulations also to new IIT Brandon (CaptBB)! I'm going to push his nose hard on the grindstone. His sister Ariel also shot very well for a relatively inexperienced shooter who was a Sunay only attendee. She promised to return with friends from Texas A&M where she is a student. A cute girl on campus wearing an Appleseed Tshirt has got to be a great recruiting tool. All the shooters worked hard. Micheal, we missed you on Sunday, hang in there, you're in the hunt.  If it was easy everyone would walk off with a patch, but all figured out that this ain't no namby pamby little league where we hand them out for showing up.

As usual, Steve's hospitality was impeccable at the nicest DAR in Texas. I can't wait to return in December.

Chuck, Joe, Steve and Kirby - it was an honor to work with you in this cause.

"If you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a small chance of survival. There may even be a worse case: you may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves."
