Project Appleseed

Great Appleseed.  Even though it was my second, I heard a lot of new information.  I added a new sitting stance to my repertoire.  It felt very stable without any muscling to retain the position.  The instructors were great and the group was great.  An extra thanks to Shannon for hosting the Appleseed on his property. 

My friend Abi had a great time.  I am positive that she will be back.  She could be a posterchild for the course.  At the beginning of the day, she did not hit the redcoat paper even once in 13 rounds.  By the end of the day, she put all her bullets in the 100, 200 and 400 yard targets with a group smaller than a dime on the 400 yard redcoat.  WOW!

If any spots are added to the October Appleseed, let me know, I can fill them immediately.  I have a few friends that were too late to register for September and October is already sold out.

Welcome to the forum, GTI! Thank you for mentioning Abi's accomplishments. I was going to post about her. She was so excited when she left Saturday night, she told me that Appleseed was the best thing she has done for herself, aside from going to college. Wow! That is saying something about the Appleseed program. I am pretty sure we will see her again  She was inspiring to watch.

Glad you could join us for part of the second day. Congrats on scoring Rifleman!

My pleasure! You had no idea what you were in for when you asked where all the pics were...I could have removed the rooster-tail(with Photoshop), but frankly that one of the reasons the pic is so charming
