I ran across this video at Smartflix that shows the three week marksmanship course for marines.

After viewing it last night, I found many similarities with the Appleseed program and even found a few pointers about the positions that were not covered in our Appleseed.

Smartflix charges $10 per disc for rental and this fee includes postage both ways. I'm not affliated with Smartflix, just a customer.

There is just so much new material to master in two days. This video and the WWII videos listed here on this site, will allow you to review the fundamentals while at home.

I rented this video also.  Problem is I could not learn it all in the time I had before I had to send it back.

I did download the 1943 army training film 1 & 2 and burned them to DVD.  They turned out pretty good and play on my DVD player fine.

I have those WW II movies on DVD, but in Windows movie format. How did you change them to a format the DVD player will recogize and play?

I'm thinking I could play the Windows movie fromat on the computer's DVD and then use a capture utility like Roxie's EZ DVD creator to burn it back to a regular DVD format.

I just took notes off the video. I think the actual DVD is copy protected.
