WOW!!!!  What a great time!!
Just wanted to get this thread started. More later.

I was waiting on Bama to start it but good job on starting one Mr Instructor O0

Well it was another dry shoot here in Alabama this weekend. Sadly all shooters and instructors were wet. >:(

Good job on persevering through the heat on Sat and Sun. I would like to thank all shooters for being willing to get off the couch and out in the heat. Shooters showed marked improvements.

We had a orange hat turn red and picked up another2 orange hat's. ^:)^ We had 2 Riflemen or should I say one Riflewoman and one Rifleman.

Waiting on some pictures that was taken. &)

More later.

There's more photos coming, but I'm done fighting with low-speed net for the night.
Here's a great photo and a good one to end your day with?!?!

I love Appleseed. Looks like he does too!

Sir Not Appearing In This Film

Nice pics! Nice to "see" everybody again.

Who were the Riflemen? Did Gnat finally make it? He was knocking on the door in April.

Gnat was nocking on the rifleman door but he never opened it. His mother on the other hand walked on in.

Finally made it.  Hate he didn't make it with me but I would never hear the end of it if he made it before me.

Thanks for believing in us both.  Hope to not let you down as an IIT.

How do you upload pictures rather than attach them

Old Hippie

I and my son's attended the Columbiana shoot on the 12th & 13th. It was very hot but we really had a great time, great people, very nice facility and learned a lot. My son's want to continue this process and get their rifleman's patches, so you will be seeing us in the future, just maybe when it cools down some. It was nice to see another long haired hippie thats not a hippie (you know what I mean Bama). I hope this concept will grow and seed the causes of liberty for many more generations. It has been long needed. Our thanks to all the instructors: Bama, Brandon, The Lawley's (all of them), Derek, Old Fud, and any and all I might have missed.

Well, I might not be the brightest bulb in the pack, but I've finally figured out that Alabama is going to be either colder than Alaska in the winter, or hotter than the devil in the summer.  Nevertheless, there are a lot of really nice people there that are a lot of fun to be around.   ^:)^  I really like the conservatism and dedication of the Alabama shooters to "git 'er done" no matter what the weather.  There are a lot of hard core out there in Alabama, thank goodness.  You guys could certainly teach the rest of the country something about patriotism and toughness.

Once again, with BamaNurse making rifleman ('er riflewoman) on both days, I'm convinced that the Alabama women are truly "Dangerous Young Women" when it comes to handling a rifle.  It's nice to see young women who know what they're about.   :---  Naturally, I was pleased to see my son in law make Rifleman again using his poodleshooter (AR) this time, and finally accepting an Orange hat.  To the Alabama guys who are knocking on the Rifleman door, stick with it, and with a little more time and practice, I have every reason to believe that you'll make it soon.

I really enjoyed working with all of you and look forward to the next opportunity.  My best to all.  Drive on!

You guys put on an excellent Appleseed last weekend.

The facilities were great, instruction was fantastic and the three strikes discussions were spot-on.  I also have to mention the few more ... imaginative drills we did O0 and a special thanks to Brandon1 for letting me try his M1.

For the many who have asked me about the mentioned books and authors. The book I read directly from was "The Technological Society" by Jacques Ellul. As far as the direction of education goes, I mentioned "Beyond Dignity & Freedom" By B.F. Skinner, "Education & the Good Life" & "The Impact of Science on Society" both by (Lord) Bertrand Russell.

Thanks to everyone, particpants and volunteers both made last weekend a huge success. We all must continue to work together. A country is waiting for our helping hands.......
