Well, it's only a little over a week till the Kaysville shoot and still no chatter. I'm a little disappointed if I'm going to drive 1500 miles to instruct I would like to instruct an enthusiastic group mob.
There are 15 Liberty minded, enthusiastic folks signed up for this event as of Tuesday evening. I find that to be anything but disappointing.
Maybe they are just quiet, or waiting for someone else to start the chatter.
It is likely that most of them have no idea what to expect and therefore are not yet excited. You will get them excited after you get there and give them a taste of the program.

You can start the chatter you know. It's still a free country for a little while **) That is if we fail. Kaysville is a new site for us. We've always had great people come out in Utah so if you can spend extra one on one time and really effect these few, then you could have masses next time. ;)

You taste from a garden hose we're still using "the fire-hose of knowledge" right. With a smallish # like 15 we should be able to give everyone the attention the need. I'm still working on my local contacts to increase those numbers. Trying real hard to convince a leftist friend to bring her nephews but I'm not holding my breath.
OK Utah.......
Kaysville is coming up. Who is coming?
Sound off here.
Shoot Boss for Kaysville sounding off here!

Mike checking in.
I hope to get more than 15 there and I am working on it.
I am just glad to have a shoot in northern utah now.
I will be going to the range board meeting tomarrow to iron out the wrinkles.
Howdy Appleseeders,
Less than a week out from the Kaysville shoot and we've got 15 pre-registered and only one instructor (yours truly as Shoot Boss). The original IIT had a personal situation develop so it's down to one now.
Who's ready to step up to the plate? IITs in ID, CO, WY or NV looking to get some more experience under the belt and move up a level of IIT-ness?
We're hoping for some walk-ons too, based on input from the local BOTG.
Let's step up and support the Rocky Mountain Region! The Shoot Boss is driving in from AZ, for pete's sake :)

Latest count reported from the folks who manage the pre-registration rolls is 21 folks ready for this weekend.
Let's get the support out for UT on the Appleseed trail!

I want to again thank AZGromit and johniim (and the other Saturday Instructor who's name I have forgotten.)
What a great experience, I learned alot about my shooting self this weekend.
AZGromit I wish we had more time for dangerous men and women stories at lunch, alas it just looks like more homework on my end :D
Thank you!
Travis
Remember Appleseed is a journey not a destination. I think you were there to witness what happens when you don't do your homework ( my presentation of the history).
Hey Travis,
Welcome aboard the Appleseed trail.
We have an after action report up and running at http://appleseedinfo.org/smf/index.php?topic=7232.msg66702;topicseen#msg66702 (http://appleseedinfo.org/smf/index.php?topic=7232.msg66702;topicseen#msg66702) if there's anything specific you'd want to put there too (in case this thread isn't watched as closely).
Thanks for coming out and glad that it was such a positive experience.
Craig (craigercj) was the Saturday instructor who came down from WY to help out.
Persist!
