This event is only open to Project Appleseed instructors and others that have qualified expert at Project Appleseed events.
This is a Known Distance qualification only event. Shooters should arrive ready to shoot an AQT.
Centerfire rifles are required as we will be shooting the full distance of the AQT. Shooters should have their dope for 1, 2, 3 and 400 yards.
Riflemen attending the event must bring their Rifleman Patch to participate.

Saturday April 17th
VIMSAR (Vintage Military Semi Auto Rifle) (https://dsrpc.org/vimsar-match-32/)
DESCRIPTION:
Participants replicate marksmanship techniques used by military marksman. The match consists of approx. 10 rounds per stage of untimed and timed fire at each of the 5 stages, using prone, sitting and standing in both supported and unsupported positions. All targets are steel ( various sizes and shapes ) from 100 to 400 yards. Also, two stages will usually include a pistol with 6 rounds on each stage at ranges up to 50 yards.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Participants will use a pre-1955 standard military issue (or replica) semi auto rifle with open sights and pistol or revolver. A maximum of approx. 60 rounds for the rifle and 18 rounds for the pistol.
If you don't have a qualifying pistol, there are loaners available.
