Howdy to all the southern crew.
With Mutti leaving and Steck in Texas... We have a void. I was hoping that someone from down your way would be willing to step up and help out coordinating the Southern half of the state.
I have done a couple shoots down your way. I met some of you at the NRA Youth shoot last year (I think.. or the year before). I am the one that usually has a daughter or two in tow...
I am still new to this SC job and don't yet have a firm hand on it yet. But, I will/am doing what I can. One of my goals is to find another venue to hold events up my way. Waterman is about it for us in the northern half. I know you guys have a whole lot of venues... so, I could really use a southern counterpart to help manage and schedule those ranges.
Also, as a side note, someone is trying to close Sparta. ISRA is sending a petition around to try to keep it open. http://goo.gl/forms/05A5B1P8V3 (http://goo.gl/forms/05A5B1P8V3). I don't know anything about that range, but I hear its a good one.
PM me with ideas or thoughts about this. Also I am looking for any ideas/needs that Illinois has.

floydf, we're going to Burleson (which is south of Ft. Worth). That puts us within a reasonable distance of both Dallas and Waco, however we're going to be swamped for a while so no Appleseed for a bit.
