Patty (age 90) had experienced a stroke. She had difficulty identifying and then verbally expressing what she could see as her sight picture. She also had difficulty expressing "left" and "right" correctly with words, but could indicate correctly with her body movements.
We devised a situation where when completing a stage of the AQT, squares, etc. these paper targets were available where she could physically point to what she was trying to explain lessening her frustration and increasing the Instructor working with her in understanding what she was trying to communicate. She became pretty accurate.

It appears the Family maybe signing up for a later shoot this year and I am looking for additional advice/ideas to create
1) Effective eye relief : she could only see if her eye was located 12" or so from the rear lens which created an extended time for her to complete step 1 & 2 of firing the shot.
2) No cheek weld could be achieved due to limited mobility

Would a "ghost ring" or a red dot type sighting system work? They might get her by the the short sighting radius, or perhaps a paper towel cardboard tube between her and the scope being used. It would serve to focus her sight where its needed and remove various visual 'distractions'- this assumes that there wasn't major damage to her eyes, nerves, &c. from the stroke. Worth a try anyway and could be tested indoors at her house.

Received a call from Brian @ Be Adaptive (http://www.beadaptive.com/)out of Indiana who presented an idea for Patty.
Called the iScope (http://www.iscope.com/) this device looks as if it could create a Sight Picture which would be helpful in her Sight Picture/Sight Alignment.
Technology is wonderful.
