I am pleased to announce that the Appleseed program has two new orange hats after this weekend in Smyrna, Tn. Regan, Arwen on the forum, was presented her orange hat by TnColonel first thing Saturday morning. She shot 227 last August but did not turn 13 until last month.
Also, Sunday afternoon her mom, Jill, shot a Rifleman score of 222 and was presented her Rifleman patch by me. This was her 5th shoot and proof that a Rifleman persists. She also asked for an orange hat and was presented with one at the benediction.

Congrats Jill & Regan! I was honored to be instructing at Manchester when Ben and his family came up. Ben and Regan shot RM that day and Jill wasn't that far behind them. Ben and his family are a great boon for AS. Ben has his own range down in northern GA that hosts AS and comes up here to help TN out.

Thanks everyone. We are now a family of riflemen. Time to start working on my older kids and grandkids. You will definitely see us on the Appleseed trail, most notably here in Rising Fawn on May 12 - 13. Give mom the gift that she can really use one day. Bring her to an Appleseed event on Mother's day weekend. ;D
