Safety Notice:
Rifles must be cased and left in vehicle until after the Safety Briefing. Do Not bring your firearms out until instructed to bring them to the firing line. No loaded firearms on the range unless on the firing line and load command has been given. Eye and ear protection required. No illegal firearms are allowed. Some ranges are .22 rimfire only. At ranges that allow centerfire no rifle cartridges over 8mm cal are allowed.

None on site, but Forest Service and BLM land is nearby with no services on crude marked access roads.
Rio Bravo and Orilla Verde Self Serve Campground. On a rough 2WD road down into the Rio Grande Gorge and next to the river about 20 minutes away.

Directions:
From Taos: Go N out of Taos to Hwy 64 West. Cross Rio Grande Gorge Bridge.
Go 3/8 mile further on Hwy 64 to turnoff to Ojo Caliente.
Stay on paved road (West Rim Road) heading South for 9 miles.
Turn right (West) on NM 567.
Go 5 miles West.
Just BEFORE the Carson Post Office and Poco Loco Store on Hwy. 567:
Turn Left (South) on South Carson Rd. Go S. for 1/3 mile.
Parking is first driveway on the left.

Bring your .22 or centerfire - or bring both.
Instructors have personal rifles (Ruger 10/22, etc.) to loan if absolutely necessary. Please call Gillian Fryer Bradford in ADVANCE!. Also - call Gillian Fryer Bradford if you are having trouble finding ammo for this event. We will shoot 250-300 rounds.
Bring your lunch and snacks as we do our history presentations and this you don/t want to miss!
