NO "LOANER" Rifles available!
Due to the recent passage of California Assembly Bill 1511, we will no longer be able to lend rifles to attendees in the state of California.
AB1511 bans loaning of all firearms, unless "to a spouse or registered domestic partner, or to a parent, child, sibling, grandparent, or grandchild".
Effective August 1st, 2021, The Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 rifle can again now be used at Project Appleseed clinics. Check details on our How to Prepare page: https://appleseedinfo.org/how-to-prepare/

Safety Notice:
Rifles must be cased and left in vehicle until after the Safety Briefing. Do Not bring your firearms out until instructed to bring them to the firing line. No loaded firearms on the range unless on the firing line and load command has been given. Eye and ear protection required. No illegal firearms are allowed. Some ranges are .22 rimfire only. At ranges that allow centerfire no rifle cartridges over 8mm cal are allowed.

Directions: Get on Hwy 101. (coming from either the North or South) and follow it to Eureka. The Redwood Gun Club Range facility is located on the Samoa Peninsula, north of the town of Manila on Hwy 255. From Hwy 255 (Samoa Blvd), coming from the South, Turn Left on Young Lane. From the north, that would be a RIGHT turn. Head for the ocean. Then turn Right at the Big 'ol green sign that says 'Gun Club ---->'. Please take it slow on the gravel road, maintinence costs! Do Not Park on the gravel road! Come inside the range gate.Visitors must sign in with the Range Master on Duty.
