This range requires a Centerfire due to long distance targets

*** An Appleseed KD is a long distance shoot and requires advanced skills. The targets may be anywhere from 100 to 400 yards depending on the Location. Only those that have previously attended an Appleseed should sign up.

Safety Notice:

Rifles must be cased and left in vehicle until after the Safety Briefing. Do Not bring your firearms out until instructed to bring them to the firing line. No loaded firearms on the range unless on the firing line and load command has been given. Eye and ear protection required. No illegal firearms are allowed. Some ranges are .22 rimfire only. At ranges that allow centerfire no rifle cartridges over 8mm cal are allowed.

Directions:

Entry to EAFR/CEATS: 

1) From downtown Jericho, VT turn right onto Ethan Allen Road

2) Proceed .7 miles on Ethan Allen Road to reach the EAFR/CEATS Gate Shack. This Gate Shack may or may not have a guard present. If not, proceed. If so stop, identify yourself and state your purpose (VSRPA/Appleseed shooting activity on range 4-1). You may have to show valid ID (Driver’s License Acceptable) to gain entry. 

3) From the gate, continue straight .3 miles then turn right on Essayons Road

4) Continue 1.7 miles then turn left on KD Road

5) Range 4-1 will be ahead of you approximately 1.3 miles

6) PLEASE OBEY 25 MPH SPEED LIMIT
