I admit, I was nervous about another Miamisburg AS so soon...

Since our May 30-31 event went so well, I requested July 18-19 from the club at the June 10 meeting.  It was approved and went up on the Appleseed schedule a few days after that.  I just checked the pre-reg tally today and saw:

Miamisburg, OH - July 18-19         - 15 (out of possible 20 spots)

This just goes to show that Ohio can fill lines!  We should never think that we have enough shoots scheduled!  If we do our part with promotions, we can easily have at least one full AS a month in the Buckeye State..... we're pretty darn close to that now.

(BTW, I'm in talks for getting a bigger range in SW Ohio.)   O0

Keep up the good work Buckeyes!

Old Glory!

Good work in Ohio and quickly too!  From May 31 to July 18 and you are already filling up the Appleseed line.   No static thinking anymore.

Here are some stats about your July 18-19 Appleseed that I thought you might be interested in.

"Folks, this Appleseed thing doesn't work if we get a patch and go home. It doesn't work if we shoot a Rifleman score and remember the good times we had out on the range. It only works if we take that 7th Step and spread the 'seed. HUZZAH!!!"  Slim

Mean, I'll overlook all this "crazy talk" - as the official goal of this program is to have an Appleseed each month in EACH COUNTY across this nation (urban counties may be, but necessarily, excepted).

How many counties are there in Ohio?

Our instructor corps is growing...  We're filling lines...  We're on our way.  No letting up now!

Yessir, many of us will be camping Friday and Saturday nights at the range.  Should be a good time.

Non-Instructors, please contact me ahead of time if you plan to pitch a tent!  Thanks.
