[Devereux]

Hello shooters,
We hope you guys enjoyed the weekend as much as us instructors did!  Although we are not just fair weather shooters, beautiful weather made the event even more enjoyable.  I hope the history told was encouraging and exciting. It definitely stirred something in me after attending my first event.

From the conversations I overheard I believe all in attendance had a great time.  I overheard one shooter saying, "Hey this stuff works". Handing out four Rifleman patches is the proof.  Congratulations to Anna with a 216 and Josh with a 214, both were new Riflemen. We also had two requalifications, Andrew with a 224 and Mike with a 211.  We had several more inching closer and I believe all with some persistence can achieve Rifleman.

We hope to see all of you again on the range soon and bring someone with you. Keep an eye on the schedule map as events are added regularly.  Remember olympians dry fire several thousand rounds for every live round fired.  We can learn much from this practice.  Remember that 7th step and help us spread the Awesomeness of Appleseed.

                                                          In Liberty,
                                                          Devereux

Sounds like a fun event.
