Ten shooters gathered for a KD at the Henry County Gun Club clubhouse October 10 for safety and marksmanship instruction. Then we moved to the club's 600 yard range for further instruction and shooting. Unfortunately outlier rain from a hurricane plagued us for the entire day. However, that didn't dampen the spirits of the shooters who exhibited much concentration. At the distances of each hundred yards, sighters were obtained and the AQT stages were shot. At the conclusion, five out of the ten shooters qualified as Riflemen! Special congratulations were expressed for the scores of; Garrett, 47, Darryl, 42; Mark, 40; Kyle, 43; and Brian, 40. We were all delighted with these exceptional results and hoped for more Sunday.

Sunday was an extremely beautiful, sunshiny day.  More instruction and history was given then and two more AQTs were shot. Garrett and Darryl qualified again on both of these and Darrel increased his score to 44. Kyle and Brian also qualified again.

These results were excellent and everyone learned from the experience.  The instructors; Google, Maximum Ordinate, and Geek all performed superbly and are congratulated for the success of this event.
