What a great event!

This was a one-day event. The weather was lightning, thunder, rain and flooding. We spent much of the day dodging rain drops but we still got in all of the instruction and skills. The range facility, as always, was first rate and a great place to work. Thank goodness for the dry classroom. The Instructors were excellent. I'm so lucky to work with such fantastic people.
 
Most shooters were first timers at Appleseed. They ranged in ages from 13 to 77. After shooting the Hits Count target, we started on the basics. The group worked hard and the shooters were very attentive and a bit soggy. Everyone improved greatly and we managed an AQT by the end of the day. Congratulations to everyone for working so hard. We had 2 new riflemen and one re-qualification earning scores of 213, 217 and 220. Congratulations to Nancy, Mike and Valverde Also, another shooter, Nicolette, got very close with a score of 179. Several shooters promised to return and try again.

The event went very well. All shooters should feel good about the improvements that they made. A big thank you to the best crew of instructors in Appleseed.  Everyone did a wonderful job and the teamwork was amazing.  Check out some pictures of the event below.

What a nice looking range.  You got all that done in one day?  They all must of been great listeners (and instructors).
