That the Clinton County Farmers' and Sportsman's Association in Wilmington, OH is the greatest range in all of Appleseed and that Good Ol' Bay 7 stands as a glorious testament to the higher education of rifle marksmanship..."

Okay, maybe that's not quite how it goes but we can definitively state that our group of six shooters who turned out for the 25M Appleseed event this weekend at CCFSA continued the long-standing tradition of drinking-from-the-firehose instruction and heart-felt, lump-in-your-throat kind of history that only the Appleseed Instructor Corps can provide. And we only had to get out the cat-o-nine-tails once or twice the whole weekend!



David, Mike, Steve, Tom, Casey, and Adam endured a nearly perfect, albeit a bit on the warm side, weekend that saw a tremendous improvement in marksmanship skills by each and every shooter. The teachable attitude was obvious among the entire group as well as one of the program's newest Orange Hat instructors as Learner earner another notch in his IIT journey.



The only disappointment of the event was the onset of thunderstorms late Sunday afternoon that most assuredly kept a couple of shooters from earning their Rifleman patch since we had to cut it short by an AQT or two. No worries, though. There's no doubt that this group has a few patches in their future for sure.

Thanks to all of our student who made our event safe and enjoyable and to the members of the Greatest Marksmanship Instructor Corps in the world- RedLeg, Learner, goodoldfriend, Owl1, Octopus, SawdustJake, and Longrifleman. Most of all a very special Thank You to the members and board of CCFSA for their continued support of the Appleseed program- The Greatest Range in Appleseed!

Thanks to all the shooters for coming out and braving what was a pretty hot and humid Saturday. Loved seeing the improvement across the entire line over the course of the weekend and looking forward to seeing many of you in the future!

I had a great time in Wilmington this past weekend.  This was my first event as an IIT, and I thoroughly enjoyed helping coach at the event.

As others have already said, it was great to see the students implement lessons offered by the Appleseed instructors.
