A great weekend in western Michigan.  We had 8 intrepid patriots who joined us at the South Kent Sportsmans Club to learn about pistol marksmanship and American Heritage.  After a full Saturday of learning the tripod of pistol marksmanship (remember?  Grips, Sights, Trigger) and multiple drills to help cement the concepts, our first PQT of the weekend resulted in 2 new Pistoleerâ„¢s (congrats Bill and Erik).

Sunday was a review of the fundamentals and then drills.  Most helpful (per our students) was our "study hall" where we had time to drill down on the individual skills that students were struggling with.  This was time well spent as we saw PQT scores skyrocket...from the low/mid 100s to the high 100s/low 200s.  Valee (who HATES pistol shooting...so she said) proved she knows what she is about with a 210 score and a "spritz" of North Bridge water to mark the event.

Our Big Dot-Little Dot fun shoot emphasized accuracy, speed and decision making.  Congrats to Erik for winning the rimfire division and Bob for winning the centerfire division.

Great event, even with the heat, and I look forward to seeing you all on the line again.  Thanks to my cadre who was great...MI-Copperhead, Fidget and jennwilber73
