Boy - almost forgot to post this one. Been busy! And worse - I have no pics!!! But then I'm not much of a picture person.

We had a private event for Trail Life. And as I've mentioned before those are some really good kids. If you want to feel that there is still hope for this country just hang out with some of the kids of TL. Old school, yes sir, no sir, polite, and believe in God and Country.

The weather was hot but at least there was a breeze to help with things and the mornings felt nice and cool.

It was a smaller crowd than usual with only 11 students. However that kept us busy enough so that was fine with me. Lots of very young men and a few adults. And as is usual the shooting improved. Although there were not patches earned at least the shooting was better. Shotgun patterns went to small, and some very small, groups.

And as is usual with TL the kids had a great attitude. Even on early Saturday when some of them had shotgun groups they didn't get frustrated and just kept applying what was taught. It's always nice when you see a big ol' grin on their face when the get that first decent group.

Sunday morning before Appleseed began Derek held a church service which I attended. It was about 'for we fight against powers and principalities' - which is something I firmly believe. It was one of those coincidences that I'd just read up about that on Friday night before the shoot. I believe the proper term for them is Luciferians. At least the ones at the very top.

And then Sunday Appleseed began. We all turned to the flag and said the Pledge of Allegiance. I then did my Appleseed in 10 minutes and then we got down to business.

So all in all - another good shot in Waco. And thanks Richard, Jim, and Alex for helping out. It's always buku appreciated.

My desire to be well informed is currently at odds with my desire to remain sane.
