Appleseed connection. Eventually. :) I live in a great place. A good part of the reason is having an excellent police department. I stop and say hello and thanks for being out there any time I see one of them stopped but not with a "customer". A couple of years ago they started a quarterly program, Coffee with a Cop. They pick a spot and for a couple of hours several of them are there and we can go visit with them. This morning was at Chick-Fil-A. I wore my Project Appleseed boonie hat I just got through the store. One of the detectives asked me about it and we talked a few minutes about it. I don't know if he'll pursue it but at least one more good guy now knows about it and might pass it along. So I'm pleased on several fronts. I got to talk about Appleseed, visit with a few of the guys I regularly see, meet a few new guys, and get a good breakfast, all in one outing.
