Bench Rest Rifle Club wrapped up its Appleseed season this weekend in Wright City, MO under hot and sunny skies.
 
A warm welcome to PaleRider—an experienced instructor from Texas who was new to the Missouri crew and a great addition to the team!

We had a total of 16 shooters close out the season with us, and six earned their Rifleman patches: Thomas (211), Riley (224), Sean (212), Nick (242, requal, distinguished), Paige (213, requal), and Terry (212). The rest of the line showed strong effort and solid improvement throughout the day.

Our instructor team— 209Ken, M-Dawg, PaleRider, Flintlock54, P51Mustang, and AdmiralKirk— kept the line running safely and smoothly all weekend.

Along with marksmanship, shooters learned about our American history and heritage, including the sacrifices and courage shown on April 19, 1775—the day marksmanship met history.

The heat was a major factor this weekend, everyone stayed hydrated and focused, and we ended the season on a high note.
