What a great weekend to be up in the North Country!  Northwestern Gun Club, the oldest NRA affiliated club anywhere hosted us for a Pistol Clinic.  We had 7 participants arrive eager to improve their marksmanship skills with a pistol.

Throughout the weekend's learning there were plenty of smiles to go along with the beautiful weather that we were blessed with.  Ben, Katy, Cole, Lucas, Chris, Tim, & Jill put in the effort to improve and the results definitely shows.

Chris and Tim were battling it out for bragging rights and both ended up with a weekend best score of 242.  Chris of course had to shoot multiple 239's before finally getting the distinguished badge.  Tim also wanted to prove he could shoot non-dominant hand - so he shot Saturday using his weak hand as primary for his two-handed stages.

Lucas was also able to shoot a 219 on one of the last PQTs becoming a Pistoleerâ„¢ in his first event.

Ben a returning Pistoleerâ„¢ had his sights on getting it with centerfire and iron sights this time.  While getting close in the low 200's it just wasn't there this weekend.

Katy worked consistently on improving and would put stages together that proved the improvement was coming, but was not able to get five consistent stages and/or five stages without a pistol malfunction.

Cole showed great improvement with both his 40S&W and a borrowed 22lr.

Jill finished Sunday with almost clearing the final hits count of the weekend.

What a wonderful weekend to spend with fellow citizens and Patriots.

A huge thank you to our fellow volunteers Double Tap, The_Curmudgeon, & Rose Gold for helping out and to NWGC for the use of the range and the wonderful 7th stepping opportunities.
