A hot, but enjoyable weekend with fellow Patriots is always welcome...even if it felt like our faces were melting off.  Let's hear it for students and instructors who bring enough canopies to build a "canopy city!"

We had a total of 9 participants that really dug in on the lessons of pistol marksmanship and American heritage.  Congrats to Elise, Tom, Kate, Taylor, Kirk, Jim, Dan, Adrian and Justin on a great showing.  Elise showed that her Pistoleer™ score a few weeks back was no fluke, by repeating the feat over and over.  Well done to our new Pistoleer™s - Tom and Adrian.  And we had some very respectable scores from Kate, Taylor, Kirk, Jim, Justin and Dan (with Justin and Jim missing score by only 1 point).

Thanks again to the Deer Creek Conservation Club - they treat us like royalty and really support the program.

We also had a fun shoot.  FireAxes came out with the best score.  He was awarded a fabulous prize of a cleaning kit.

It's was a nice event.  Glad I could make it for at least one day.  Next time I'll bring the full sized Beretta that doesn't need the front sight filed down.
