What a weekend!

Everyone persisted despite heat and humidity (welcome to Virginia in the summer), and the edge of a thunderstorm swatting the target line and one of the popup canopies we had for shade. 

Congratulations to Geoff and Julian and Jay for outstanding shooting!  All achieved Pistoleer™, Geoff also earning a Distinguished Pistol Score patch.  Huzzah!   Jay and Geoff both also shot at least 1 clean Red Coat target, earning the Virginia patch.  Huzzah!

My apologies for Sunday afternoon, I was called away by a family emergency (all is well now).  My sincere thanks to all who attended for understanding and a BIG thank you to Messer for stepping up to finish up the shoot.

I look forward to seeing each of you again at a shoot in the near future!

What a great (if hot) weekend! Glad everything is all good with your family. Thank you both for all the help with improving my shooting - now to try to get those last 7 points and make it an even 250

I agree, it was a great event!

I also think the rain delay worked in everyone's favor (except for the canopy, that is!) giving folks an extended rest/cool down time.

DMVRifle, I have faith you can make the 250!
