This was my first shoot as a full Shoot Boss, and it would not have gone as well as it did without the amazing Instructors that I had working with me. We had a great group of students, and I couldn't have asked for a better shoot to be my first as a fully certified Shoot Boss. We had amazing weather (Glad I had a boonie hat!) with the sun out all day Saturday, and reaching up to 70F! (Hey! We are in Alaska, we get excited about 70F weather!) Sunday was more good weather, even though it was overcast.

The students were very interested and engaged in the history, and has amazing teachable attitudes. The improvement from these students was really amazing to see, and it was good knowing that they were receptive to the Instructors personalized attention. We were able to yet again show how sometimes you just need to get out of your own head and do the things you know you need to do! We saw multiple students add 50+ points to their AQT scores by doing a Rapid Fire AQT as opposed to a stage by stage.

Everyone enjoyed the shoot and were showing interest in coming to another! I'd say my favorite part of the shoot was seeing a student that came to a shoot 2 weeks ago who was unable to qualify prove to us instructors he listened and practiced what we taught him at him with dryfire! In just 2 weeks he went from not being able to qualify to shooting a 213! Huzzah!!!

Loved the shoot, and am looking forward to the next one! Pictures to come soon!!
