It's been a few years since I was interested in attending workshops because of COVID.

I've registered for a 25M Appleseed event in the spring of 2025.

Is it true that you are allowed to use rifle scopes for 25M Appleseed events?

Thank you.

Scopes are absolutely welcome on our lines.  I look forward to seeing you there.

Dr. Joseph Warren, in his last letter to his mother, "Where danger is, dear mother, there must your son be... I will set [America] free or die".

Our cause is just . . . our country will be grateful - George Rogers Clark

"This country has been made by the Timothy Murphys, the men in the ranks. Conditions here called for qualities of heart and hand that Tim Murphy had in abundance. Our histories should tell us more about the men in the ranks, for it was to them, more than to the generals that we were indebted for our military victories." -  Franklin Delano Roosevelt, as New York Governor, 1929, at the dedication of the memorial to Murphy

Hi, Ted.  Yes, scopes are allowed.  Most people have them - especially those of us whose eyes have started to betray us.

Welcome back!

Yes sir, as Geek and Upacreek said, scopes are welcome! Additionally, these two documents should help you to get set up for your first event. I highly recommend reading them. Let us know if you have any more questions. Good luck at your first event!

you know, my eyes are not great at all either these days.

But, I can say a peep sight is a big difference, for me at least, versus a normal iron sight.

I did put a techsights 200 mini in and really like it.

Not sure how to explain it but if you have bad eyes you likely spent some time at the eye doctors office.

you know how they give you that paddle to cover one eye then the other then switch it to one with a lot of holes in it. I can always see much clearer with the one and the holes. I asked the eye doc and he said its because your eye focuses through the hole in than over all or something to that effect. The peep sight acts similar for me.

My next objective is to make rifleman with irons and that peep sight.

I'm glad to hear it is!  It's the first AR type rile I've owned.  As the weather is warming up, I'm getting anxious to get out to my local F&G club to put time into sighting it in and putting rounds down the barrel.
