Phoenix AZ Dec 14-15, 2024 Ben Avery Shooting Facility

https://i.imgur.com/UYzZSHT.jpg[/img]]The Project Appleseed 25M event at Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix, Arizona, in December 2024 was a remarkable success. We had six attendees, all first-time Appleseeders. 
What was truly remarkable to me is that  all but one had very little to no experience firing a rifle. Despite their lack of experience, they were putting out impressively small shot groupings after just two hours of instruction. Take a look at these shooter squares;



One of those students, qualified as a "Rifleman" with an impressive score of 215, surpassing the required 210. The event was a testament to the effectiveness of the training and the dedication of the participants.


We also had one of our Orange Hats make that step into a Red Hat. Congrats "Procyon"


Our IIT's and even our Red Hats spent time in the dirt making sure our shooters received as much attention as needed.
