This event was sold out in January. It has become an annual event for a contingent of shooters from the Memphis area and we are always delighted to see them.

Classroom instruction began in the clubhouse Saturday morning and then the 13 shooters adjourned to the range for Morgan's Shingles, followed by sighting in for rifles, and AQTs.  This was hampered by unseasonably warm weather on both Saturday and Sunday. Because of this, we began Sunday with an AQT while it was still relatively cool. This was followed by a Range Estimation exercise and another AQT. History presentations were also given at lunch on both days.

William and Ron shot Morgan's Shingle while Brian and JP shot it while standing.

On the AQTs, JP qualified by shooting a 40. Jingkun, at his first KD and only his second Appleseed, shot a 41 and a 44. James shot a 45 and Brian shot a 47. At the top of the class, Michael shot two 50s and a 48. This was the result of much hard work and dedication.

Congratulations to everyone.

The Instructors, Maximum Ordinate, Google, and JPL performed flawlessly, as usual.
This was a great weekend and we are all looking forward to next year.
Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add "within the limits of the law" because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.  Thomas Jefferson

Sounds like a great KD event at Puryear as always! Sorry I missed this one.
The difference between a novice and a master: the novice does it until they get it right. The master does it until they can't get it wrong.

It's not about perfection -- it's about progress!!

I LOVE this stuff!

"Perhaps you and I have lived with this miracle too long to be properly appreciative. Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again" Ronald Reagan
