Abbottstown, PA, AAR – Aug 3-4, 2024

We'd like to start off by thanking York & Adams Game & Fish Association for the use of their facilities; they are gracious hosts, and we could not ask for a better partner in liberty. Don-1886, Off_paper, BBQ_Bandit and Yates were on site for this two day event to provide excellent instruction to 10 patriots.

The weather was hot and muggy both days, but as we all know, a Rifleman persists.

By the end of Sunday, Joe had scored Rifleman with a high score of 230, while Scotty earned distinguished with a high score of 242. We were also graced with the presence of the Vice President of the club, who joined us for one AQT and showed that he knows what he is about with a score of 218. Many other shooters demonstrated throughout the weekend that they are well on the path to Rifleman, and all were highly engaged in the telling of the 3 Strikes of the Match. Joe and Scotty were joined by Taylor and Larry in clearing their Hits Count! Targets, and we all want to give a special call out to our youth shooter Jackson whose energy helped keep the rest of us going!

Overall, an excellent weekend of comradery and history, thank you to all!

Wow! I had mega fun shooting with you fellows! Shooting at Appleseed is the highpoint of my retirement. I learn something new each event I attend. Sometimes I say 'I know that" when I really don't know that. Holding the trigger back after each shoot is critical for tight groups in EVERY position...not just the prone. Thanks for teaching me that Pat, Mike, Bob and others.
