Another great Appleseed weekend!

We didn't do one at this range last year, and folks were ready to sign up when this was announced.

29 participants, 9 instructors Saturday and 7 on Sunday.

5 young patriots.

2 new Riflemen.

2 requalifying Riflemen.

1 GREAT host family - this place is like a state park, except on private land.

2 good sponsors in Guns Save Life and GSL Defense Training.  Thanks for the publicity, snacks, drinks, canopies, generator, fans and other equipment that came in handy.

And lots of smiles, history and heritage, and fun.

Americans doing what Americans do best.

Pictures to follow.  Please add your comments, observations, and pictures.

Another very nice shoot at the Holland Farm.  A big thank you to the Holland Family for preparing and hosting this site.  There was a lot of work preparing this site.

Congratulations are in order for two new Rifleman Nick and Jay.  Hopefully we'll have some photos.

A big congratulations is in order for the Shoot Boss.  This was a very large group out all weekend in extremely hot conditions.  TheEditor did a very nice job of pacing the shoot, arranging covered areas, and keeping the group hydrated.  Virtually everyone came back for the second day and from every appearance had a very good time.  Well done!

Had a Great time, and echo the thanks to our hosts and sponsors.

Heat was certainly a factor, and we may have gone through more water then ammo, but not loosing anyone to the heat is a big win.

Will try and get my photos posted up once I can get them off the phone.

Once again I have to thank the Bob Holland family for hosting the best possible location for an Appleseed 25 meter Rifle event. The instruction was spot on.  There are always those points of instruction that need to be reinforced in the memory bank.

Have to thank the shoot boss for adjusting the pace of instruction to the oppressive heat. With a lot of hydration we were able get thru the exercises in good shape. This event was especially enjoyable to me as my nephew and his son were absorbing the vast quantity of instruction like a sponge and improving minute by minute.

A tremendous thank you to the instructors who put a tremendous amount of time and effort into this great program.  And of course, congratulations to the new riflemen and the Young Patriots who persevered thru the heat.
