I took the Orange Hat last weekend at Hinckley, MN. My forum profile was updated but after scratching around the forum I still have a question that I have not found the answer for...how do I sign up for an Appleseed? There is one scheduled in two weeks right in my area and I would like to volunteer whatever help that I can at this early stage in my career. Thanks.

At my third Appleseed in Manchester, TN, I earned my Rifleman's patch and accepted an orange hat from TN Colonel. 

Rainy and cold: a great day to earn a winterseed patch.  ..:..

I Earned the patch at my 2nd AS in Columbiana Al. Sunday 04/17/2011 Took the Orange hat from Shoot Boss 4merUSMC1803 . I am proud to become a part of passing on our Heritage and the great traditions of the Rifleman to others. Pass it on.... It's the right thing to do.

My son and I earned the patch and asked to wear the hat at Mecca (cough Ramseur) during the Hajj (cough anniversary event April 16th - 17th) from 7.62BBQ.

Can't wait to start working on my first IIT progression.

I earned the Rifleman patch at my first Appleseed(Bedford,IN) and became hooked. During my second 'seed', I proved to myself that I had alot to learn and that I was up for the challenge.
Being asked to pick up the orange hat means combining the three things that I love to do: history, shooting, and teaching.
I can't wait to see everyone along the trail.

I scored rifleman at my first Appleseed in Athens, OH and then was dithering during the following months (and 2 more Appleseeds) whether I was up to taking the plunge to be an instructor.  Finally made the decision and took my hat this past weekend at the Cloverdale, IN shoot from DaveD.

I'm a little nervous about finding time for it all, but I can't wait to learn and teach.

I shot Rifleman at my first Appleseed.  Boulder City Nevada April 16, 17th.  I didn't know what to expect.  I came away with a greater sense of pride in America and what it means to an American.  I loved the instruction, the history, and the time I got to spend with my 10 year old son.  We just did our Second shoot this month and I have proudly accepted my orange hat and picked up my bailing bucket.  I am proud to be a part of the Southern Nevada Team.   D-Day-Jack

I asked for my orange hat this morning, and we had a great shoot in Eureka, CA, including a new Rifleman!  JohnnyAppleseed wanted me to do the AAR, since he doesn't have Internet access at the moment, but I don't seem to have new topic permission on this forum just yet.

I accepted my orange hat at my 3rd Appleseed June 18, 2011 after earning my Rifleman patch at Winterset Iowa. I am looking forward to helping get some folks off of the couch and out on the range! I also coach 4H shooters, usually working with the shotgun shooters. Last week I worked with the rifle shooters and was able to apply some of the Appleseed techniques to improve their prone shooting.

Hello I shot RM this past weekend oct.8-9 at my second  Appleseed hosted bye Northern Chester County Sprortsman's Club and was granted an Orange hat. I am moving back to Florida at the end of the month. I would like to have someone contact me from the pinellas county area so i can get involved when im settled. thank you

I was asked to pick up an orange hat this past weekend - October 8 and 9, 2011 - at Idaho's first Ladyseed in Coeur d'Alene.  I am eagerly anticipating helping out, learning all I can, and giving back to this terrific organization that has given me so much!
