It was a full line for the 2024 Patriot's Day shoot at Waco.  23 shooters total, a Boy Scout troop from out west in Abilene contributed 9 shooters 15 years old or under!

The weather could have been worse on Saturday, it rained in the morning, sort of cleared and drizzled in the afternoon, then poured down buckets for the last hits count target.  Lots of peeling drenched targets from backers, but the range is covered, so most people stayed mostly dry.  But, on Sunday, the weather could not have been better: sunny, cool, and dry.

Lots of progress during the weekend, outstanding progress on the hits count target.  We had a total of five shooters achieve Rifleman with a qualifying score, including Luke, Logan, Randy, Ryan, and Don.

Sunday afternoon we shot the memorial volley, a final hits count target, and then sent everyone back home, hopefully with a Plan to Improve!
"The Second Amendment is a doomsday provision, one designed for those exceptionally rare circumstances where all other rights have failed — where the government refuses to stand for reelection and silences those who protest; where courts have lost the courage to oppose, or can find no one to enforce their decrees. However improbable these contingencies may seem today, facing them unprepared is a mistake a free people get to make only once."
