Guilford CT Nov 4-5, 2023

[TOMINCT]

 We had a great event at NHSC in Guilford with a full line of ready to go shooters. From shiny new to some practiced individuals there was  a broad spectrum of abilities present.

POI's, demonstations and some heritage was told by any and all of the IT crew of mwolf, mmirate and Kosciuszko. The attendees took to the instruction well with some personal help made by the crew during Saturday.

Sunday started well with more personalized help, returning to squares and some drills throughout the day. Much improvement was seen over the weekend and we had 1 Rifleman score fired by Jason, a 213, on his last AQT for the day. A few shooters were in the 180-190 range scorewise, some of whom had little prior experience. All in all a good weekend and great opportunity to help get the word out.

The IT crew was invaluable, with the shared experience being passed along to those on the line, making suggestions and corrections each day. They also were involved with Heritage lessons, everyone taking turns during DOM was really well received.

A big thanks to New Haven Sportmen's Club for the use of the range. It had been a while, pre covid, since our last event there. Things were ready as usual and we were able to partake in a club breakfast on Sunday. The've been suportive of Appleseed for some time and we hope to return there in the future.

Glad to see CT is still spreading the word.
Please keep it going. The NE Region has been hit very hard recently with new restrictions on our Liberty so it's more important then ever to get our message out.
