The 2023 Appleseed shoot at The Izaak Walton League in Bloomfield, IA is in the history books.  And what a great shoot it was!!

We had a super group of 9 shooters that came out with a teachable attitude and soaked up our instruction like sponges.  This range is an amazing place to host an Appleseed.  Thanks to The Izaak Walton League for hosting us and for all they do to maintain that wonderful facility.  And, a special thanks to Josh (SoapCreeker) for maintaining that relationship so we can continue to host events there!

We had 3 shooters that had been to at least one Appleseed before, and 6 newbies.  Thanks to Cori, Clayton, Conrad, Dalton, James, Leland, Nick, Nicola, and Zeke for spending your Saturday with us!  We were honored.

Each of you made great progress throughout the weekend!  Congratulations to Clayton & James for requalifying Rifleman!  And congratulations to all the shooters for persevering when the sun came out in full strength and started sapping our energy. I am certain that you will earn Rifleman through diligent practice!

Finally, special thanks to our instructors: Josh (SoapCreeker), Mark (IOWA-mark), Bryce (Festus), Ashlyn (Daughter of Liberty), Abbie (ShootinShorty), and Seth(The Dawdler) - you all did an amazing job!!  I appreciate your awesome attitudes!!
