College Scholarships for Shooting Sports
« on: July 24, 2023, 07:21:06 PM »
Hillsdale College in Michigan has a shotgun team and a wonderful facility for shooting sports.  They also offer several scholarships for students involved in shotgun, rifle, handgun and archery.

From Hillsdale.edu:
Since 2011, Hillsdale College's shotgun team has won six national championships, as well as other honors.

Shooting as a varsity sport is rising, and generous scholarship aid is essential to attracting top-flight high school shooting champions who also have the academic ability to attend Hillsdale College.

As Hillsdale's shotgun team grows, so does the need for shooting scholarships.

Privately funded financial aid is one of our highest priorities because Hillsdale refuses all federal and state taxpayer subsidies—even indirectly in the form of federal or state student grants or loans.

"We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force." — Ayn Rand
