Quite a weekend at Racine County Line Rifle Club for Appleseed!

Saturday started out sunny and hot and just kept getting hotter.  And with the wind always a factor, you never see yourself (or anyone else) sweat.  4 instructors and 10 patriots pushed against sun, wind and hydration and we saw targets without groups show groups, and perseverance in the face of difficulty.  On Saturday, the time monkey won a hollow victory as we did not get to an AQT, but instead kept an even pace to keep people learning and attentive.

On Sunday, all the forecasters said the Saturday Sun would yield to Sunday Thunderday.  Instructors brought muck boots and ponchos and everyone was ready for a challenge, as a wet Racine is a muddy Racine.
We watched the radar and listened for natural signs of a storm - the radar showed many near misses, and we could see rain over the lake, but the crickets never stopped chirping.  The only rain we saw was a quick sprinkle during the last AQT.

We had a blessed Sunday for sure.
