What a Great Event!!!
It was an omen that it was going to be an excellent shoot.  8 IIT's and 5 Instructors making it the perfect "13", what can I say?

With that number of Instructors showing up to support me on my SBIT3 testing, I will have to admit that I was slightly nervous.  Fortunately, we had one of the most enthusiastic groups of students I have seen and as always both IIT's and Instructors were ready to present, instruct, teach, tell their stories and build up some new rifleman.

We could not have asked for better weather.  84-85 F both days with a slight breeze and NO RAIN!!
Right off, we had two student clear their Hits count target.  Congratulations to Joy & Mike.

By the end of the weekend, both the shooters and the IIT's had made fantastic progress.
Congratulations to three of our lady shooters, Carolyn, Diane and Joy for all making very impressive Rifleman scores as well as a big shout out to Barron, one of our junior shooters for also making his first Rifleman's patch HUZAAH! ^:)^

All our shooters show excellent improvement over the weekend. Carlos, Larry and Austin, all broke 200 and are right there, pounding on the door for their Rifleman's patch.  Graham was very impressive as he had never even shot a rifle before and made a very respectable Sharpshooter score.

Our IIT's also made fantastic progress and several promotions where achieved.
1GenerationAway and Genuinejoy did fantastic and were promoted to IIT1
codyClemonade and Sarea_51, both performed outstanding and were promoted to IIT3
ArmyBooger stood tall and was promoted to IIT4
All of our IIT's were amazing, and ALL made progress and had several tasked signed off.  EpicQuilter, Louie Louie & KOF all helped to make this a successful event and I'm forever thankful to the whole Cadre that was there to make it such.

It was my pleasure to meet and share A Great American weekend with all of our shooters, what a fantastic group of folk, thank you for sharing your weekend with us!!

It was also my privilege to have all of the encouragement of my fellow instructors, MyNameIsEarl, Sieggie, Malabar and Bear Arms as well as the support from all of our IIT's.  A big shout-out and THANK YOU to my mentor and friend, TheMenace for keeping the fire light under my back side.
Always remember, keep your C7H4O+KNO3+S dry and your precious metals (Steel, Brass & Lead) handy!

Palm Bay event May 13 & 14 was a great event with fantastic weather being that it is May and getting hot already.  We had a light breeze most of the weekend.   At this range we are fortunate to be able to shoot on a concrete pad covered which is covered.  So not sitting out in the sun.  We had 8 IIT's and 5 Instructors making for great student to instructor ratios.  Instructors were so willing to help the IIT's progress and get signed off for tasks this weekend and some promotions were done.  Students enjoyed that we had that breeze and it wasn't too hot.   Alarm Lister was promoted to Shoot Boss.  He did a fantastic job.

It seems like every event I attend gets better and better. All the shooters on the line were very receptive and persistent, shown through their great scores by the end of the weekend. 6 AQTs and a game! Congratulations to Alarm Lister for his promotion and yet another great event under his belt. Looking forward to attending one of your shoots soon.

Can't say thank you enough for squeezing me in at the last minute  and still accommodating my promotion requirements.

I must agree with the OP about the fine weather and excellent students. The students were engaged and enthusiastic. While we only had five Riflemen out of 15 shooters, the results were terrific. On the instructor side of things, promotion was the word of the day. Not only did AlarmLister don the green hat, but three IITs also achieved IIT3: CodyClemonade, Sarea_51, and ArmyBooger who also bumped up to IIT4. 1GenerationAway and GenuineJoy were promoted to IIT1. All the other Orange Hats also completed steps toward promotion. We saw one young woman ask for a Blue Hat to be our newest Applecore. Welcome SweetCarolyn. Just so you know, I think it was an awesome weekend!

Looks like a great event!  CONGRATS to everyone!!
It's not about perfection -- it's about progress!!

I LOVE this stuff!

"Perhaps you and I have lived with this miracle too long to be properly appreciative. Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again" Ronald Reagan
