Building a new AR that should be a decent shooter. Wanting something more than just the standard stock. Anyone here have or have used a PRS Lite stock?

Thanks

So what is Project Appleseed Business?  What would the Ghost of Project Appleseed say to us?

"Business!'" cried the Ghost of Project Appleseed, wringing its hands again.  "Liberty was my business; Heritage, History, Freedom, and Pursuit of Happiness, were, all, my business. The deals of Marksmanship were but a drop of water in the comprehensive ocean of my business!"
-Adapted from Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol.

Yes, I have one on a 6.5 Creedmoor AR10.

I don't have a lot of trigger time with it yet. I settled on it after watching a lot of reviews on YouTube. For the price point, it is a good option, IF you shoot from a bipod and rear bag.

As a lot of the reviewers pointed out, the cheek riser has some flex in it, as it is just supported at the rear of the riser. I may modify it to be more rigid once I shoot it more. The length of pull adjustment is just held by a screw that is tightened down. Time will tell how this holds up.

With my body geometry, I would not recommend this stock if you want to use it shooting with a U.S. GI sling. The cheek riser is a ways back on the stock to accommodate the charging handle. For me to get a good turkey neck and cheek weld, I have to run a much longer length of pull than I normally would. This is less than ideal for shooting with a sling. Also, there is no good way to attach a sling swivel to the rear of the stock.

I hope this helps,
