A wonderful event at Ben Lomond Gun Club (BLGC).

Thanks to BLGC for allowing us the use of their .22 Range for the weekend, with its wonderful raised shooting platform. Flat! Smooth! Dry! Warm!

Thanks to the students John and Eric, who prepared Saturday dinner then Sunday breakfast for the instructor team!

There was great weather, enthusiastic students, and two long days.

Many thanks to Ben Lomond Gun Club for the unmatched hospitality at their first class facility, with use of the campground and clubhouse for shooters and instructors.

This was a motivated, safe, proficient group of shooters, with two new Riflemen (congrats Eric & Scott) earning patches and three returning shooters requalifying. Kudos to Lane, proving that he is indeed a DOM, for shooting a Distinguished 243! Several other shooters were just one or two shots away from scoring Rifleman.

Also, a warm welcome back to dSB oneshot_onehole, returning to the line after some time away.

Tickets are still available for the upcoming Pistol Clinic at Pikes Peak Gun Club on July 8th & 9th, as well as our return to Ramah, with BLGC hosting a Pistol Clinic on August 12th & 13th.
