A big THANK YOU to the IWLA Stafford for holding it's first Appleseed Pistol Clinic!  13 Appleseeder's braved the rain storm to learn the skills of the Pistoleer™.

To start the day, Earl & Darin both cleared the hits count target and earned an VA Cadre State Patch.




Students partnering up to dry fire the "Trigger Control" drill.  Students partnered up again during "Ball & Dummy" afterwards.


Despite the heavy downpour of Rain, Bob persisted and told the story of the 2nd Strike of the Match!


Nick was the "Big Dot/Little Dot" Champion and won a VA Cadre State Patch!  The secret to success is to run it clean to avoid the 2-second per miss penalties.   Nick won with a score <9-seconds!

Even with the rain we had to endure, I saw more smiles than frowns!

It was a good group of students and I think everyone enjoyed their time on the range.

Congratulations to all of the new Pistoleer™s and everyone that cleared their Redcoat!  :beer:

I hope to see you on the firing line again!
