Patriot's Day fell on a Wednesday this year, but that didn't stop a chunk of the Arkansas Cadre from getting together to commemorate the occasion and do a little shooting. The Jonesboro Sports Shooting Complex welcomed us back with open arms for this rare weekday shoot and it was a great afternoon of shooting and camaraderie. Five instructors actually put shooting mats on the ground to partake and knock the rust off. Even though this was the first AQT of the year, Arkansas instructors demonstrated that they still "walk the walk" and everyone requalified with two distinguished requals. We shared a little history and stood in awe of the gifts we have received and obligation we all feel to ensure the liberty is passed on to our posterity and "millions yet unborn." Happy Patriot's Day!

I LOVE this stuff!

"Perhaps you and I have lived with this miracle too long to be properly appreciative. Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again" Ronald Reagan

I second Kim's comments. Great way to get your instructors together for some stress-free time on the line!

Sounds like a great way to celebrate Patriot's Day. The Arkansas Instructors are some of the best!
