Wow did we have a great event over the weekend! A little hot on Saturday (over 90 degrees), but Sunday was fantastic! A little windy both days, but at 25m, that really wasn't an issue.

We had seven kids on the line, and all of them said they had a great time! A couple had to shoot off of a bag prone, and one of those (Cara) actually shot over 230 on an AQT  :snipersmi! She got the prone position down pat! Give her another year or two, and she'll be back working the sling like a pro!

Congrats to Alex (223), Conrad (235), Hunt (220), and Patrick (226) on their first Rifleman qualifications :F. Also a big kudos to Stephen for re-qualifying with a 211. Great shooting, guys!

Thanks so much to Marshall (Don'tFix1776) and Chad (GenXMinuteman) for nailing strikes 2 and 3, and thanks to our TX-resident master instructor, Ghostring, for helping out with everything from instruction, to DOMs, to inspiring words and encouragement to all of our participants !

Special shout-out to our private range owners, Jeff and Christi Lakey, for allowing us to use their wonderful range  O0 while our regular range is hosting a shotgun event all month in Kerrville.

Huzzah, all, and thanks for the participation and patriotism!

Gee, i miss shooting in a real grass field  :-[  Good job Tim  O0 regards  :cool2:
A moral compass provides a basis for making decisions; an action is good or bad, right or wrong when viewed in the light of the individual's moral bearing. If no moral compass exists for the individual, then decisions and actions are made on the basis of purely subjective thoughts. This leads to "If it makes me happy, or makes me feel good, or if it's something I simply want to do, then it is right and good."
