April mini-Apleeseed shoot

I dont know how the rest of you feel but after getting snowed out of the March 28-29 shoot I cant wait a whole month for Appleseed. How many peple would be interested in a mini-shoot the first weekend of April out at Ben Lomond?

Just a idea right now, but theres no reason we cant pull it off. The range is there for us, we've all bought ammo and prepared for the shoot that was canceled. Now we just need to get off the couch and use it.

They might.  I sent both of them an email asking if they were interested and pointed them to this thread.

From the sound of the forcast, you guys might be fighting weather, though.  Might get that winter Appleseed in April!

Thanks for the invitation, but this weekend won't work on my end. Sure wish it did as I'd really like to try the long distance targets.....OK, I also need practice closer in....ha.

I think the weather will have the final say. Friday/Saturday is supposed to be grim. Let's see what's in store for Sunday. Can non-members of Ben Lomond show up as guests?

What with the weather this weekend it's looking like a mini-shoot just wont work out. The snow itself wouldnt be to bad but when theres 40mhp winds carrying it along... Sorry guys.

Looks like we'll just have to dry fire, and practice positions inside until the April 18-19 shoot.

By the way who is planning on attending one of the Tea Parties in Colorado, on the 15th? Sounds like a great place to do some recruiting for Appleseed.

The stars just didn't line up for us this year.  Let's get everybody to the April shoot and see if we can get a bunch of you wearing orange hats.  I'd like to see CO built up to be a strong Appleseeding State in the west.

Remember, this is Colorado where it can snow in July.

We will persevere and find weekends with good weather soon. Each time we get snowed out, the odds improve that the next time will be beautiful weather.
